Short Movie Competition
EPYC Short Film Award
The first edition of the EPYC Short Film Awards was concluded in October 2023, as part of the eleventh edition of Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film Festival.
The young audience watched the selected short movies in the EPYC categories and chose the three winners.
The EPYC Short Film Awards was established with the aim to encourage professional and amateur filmmakers, especially young authors from the Balkan region, to create short films for young audiences that promote peace and reconciliation, regional integration, democracy, European values and human rights.

EPYC features in Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film festival 2023:
EPYC movies in the official selection of the festival, in all three categories: Juniors, Cadets and Seniors.
There is no better way to spread messages for peace among peoples than by creative expression.
The jurors will meet professionals
from creative industries and talk with them on importance of art in peacebuilding.
