The jury of the Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film festival are all the young participants. Organized in three age categories, they watch the movies, discuss the featured topics and vote for the best movie in their category. The three categories are: Juniors (11-14), Cadets (15-16) and Seniors (17-19).

In the eleventh edition of Giffoni Macedonia Youth Festival, a part of the movies selected for the official competition in the Cadets and Seniors categories, will be focused on peacebuilding topics, as part of the EPYC Project.

The international jury will also vote for the short movies in all categories. Therefore, the Jury of over 650 youngsters will choose the winners of the Festival and the winners of the three EPYC Awards.
